This goes to show that owner Dan McLeod and his A-list team of writers led by the best and smartest news Editor in this country, Charlie Smith, are in tune with citizens of this city and region.

The Straight has been my newspaper of choice for as long as I can remember. Actually ever since the days of the infamous Q.Q. and his page 69 column.

I'm overjoyed that the Georgia Straight is receiving this esteemed and newsworthy recognition.
