BALWANT SINGH GILL APOLOGIZES

Today on CBC Early Edition, Sikh Leader, Mr Balwant Singh Gill who was to debate GLBT Community Leader, Alan Herbert, offerred an on-air apology.

Mr. Balwant Gill said the comments attributed to him by the Vancouver Sun were false.

Our GLBT community is requesting from Mr Balwant Gill, a formal apology and retraction. Moreover, he should offer this same formal apology to the Sikh, Punjabi and South Asian community whose good name he injured.
