IDEA presents OLYMPICS DIALOGUE on NOVEMBER 27

IDEA presents an OLYMPICS DIALOGUE

Hi All

IDEA (Independent Democratic Electoral Activists) presents an Olympics Dialogue on Saturday November 27 from 2 pm until 5 pm at Woodwards in the Portland Ballroom.

Confirmed speakers include former COPE President Sadie Kuehn, prominent anti Olympics leader Dr Chris Shaw, former Councillor Tim Louis, past United Native Nations president Scott Clark and North False Creek neighborhood activist Sean Bickerton.

Coffee and snacks provided.

Discussion will revolve around has the Olympics benefited Vancouver citizens, affordable housing at the Olympic Village and what can be done so Vancouver taxpayers are not burdened with Olympic debt.

I hope to see you all out on Saturday November 27 from 2-5pm at Woodwards in the Portland Ballroom for a very lively, interesting, timely and important discussion as we move toward Vancouver's municipal election in November 2011

Thanks Jamie Lee
