The New Nazi's
I am deeply saddened over the New Nazi's operating within our communities. Canada has welcomed many people here from different parts of the world because we are an open society which supports people fleeing their homelands and provides opportunities to start over again.
This is what I love about our country but I am deeply concerned that this group Queers against Israel seem to have only one focus and that is to spread hate against the Jewish people and Israel.
To single out Israel as an oppressor state is wrong as the Queers against Israel are doing. This group has infiltrated our community (has anyone heard of them before) and in reality they are using the Muslim community in an attempt to shake off the growing suspicion that they are indeed our modern day Nazi's.
These New Nazi's gain traction because they have Muslim allies and this provides them some cover or at least they think that.
Instead of being all white, they think they can shake off the Nazi tag by working with Muslim haters of Israel.
We can not allow this group to gain traction and if you notice they are highly secretive and are allowing the Muslim dupes to do their dirty work.
But who are these people? Well perhaps the Media especially the Queer press should undertake an investigative approach to find out who they are, what their backgrounds are, what they have ever achieved for the GLBT communities and this even bigger question needs answering which is why have they just suddenly appeared in our communities?

How sad that the Gay Pride parade has been infiltrated by this group! if anyone should know about hate, exclusion and "otherness" it is the gay community!
Whose bone-headed decision was this?? Let us know so that we can contact sponsors of the parade and voice our displeasure over the inclusion of a hate group. Perhaps those sponsors can talk some sense into the Pride parade exec!

Not a broken record. If you are implying that the group was not against Isreal, then I guess it could have called itself Vancouver Gays Against Certain Israeli Policies.
This group has done what every gay person would not want done to them: identified them as a homogenous group, and in this case, inferred that everything that group does is rotten.
let me remind you: Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. It doesn't flog, imprison or kill its gay population. I'm sorry to say that the countries that surround Israel are not of a similar enlightened bent when it comes to their LGBT population. Oh, sorry. i forgot. Homosexuality doesn't exist in Lebanaon, Iraq, Iran, etc., etc. And of course, in Iran, they wouldn't have good music---or any music---to dance to anyway!
So if Vancouver Gays Against Israel want to not support their brothers and sisters in Israel, or are so self-loathing that they they are ready to be salon socialists and support really repressive regimes (hello, Hamas!?) in the rest of the Middle East guess that is their perogative.
But, If I were them, I wouldn't be booking a sunny trip to Gaza just yet. They may find that they are not that welcome.
Oh, and here is a nice tourist primer on visiting Saudi Arabia that you might like to check out, too. But lesbians and TG ladies, leave those Blackberries at home!

Notice how he starts off his post with how he once knew a closeted gay man who died from AIDS. I guess he thinks that makes his homophobic and bigoted comments okay. What a douchebag!
Alex G Tsakumis has some real issues. Everyone who is prominent is supposedly his pal. Alex comes across as racist, homo and transphobic and he needs to grow up.
