LIBBY DAVIES TRICKS

Well folks I thought Libby Davies was beyond trickery but it appears this socialist isn't.

On September 16, 2004, Ms Davies sent out a fundraising letter appealing for funds to help the Yes for wards campaign. In the letter, it adds names of supporters from the mass mailing. For example, if the letter was addressed to me, the mailing would automatically add my name as a supporter even though I hadn't officially been contacted or given permission for my name to be used.

In this fundraising letter campaign for wards, the letter signed by Libby Davies, in fact, went out to individuals who are not supporters of wards or even members of COPE. One wonders if Ms Davies has used her data base as MP to further her objectives.

It would be interesting to see if any media follow up on this latest bag of tricks employed by the Libby Davies and the Yes campaign.

Moreover, the fundraising letter states that all funds received will be used only for their wards campaign.

Since COPE has a $400,000.00 debt, one wonders if any monies raised will be used to pay down their large debt. I guess only time will tell.

Cheers,
