Underbelly News
Downtown Eastside

Well it appears that NDP MP Libby Davies is finding it difficult playing the Lady-in-Waiting role. According to a NDP source, Ms Davies is ticked having to stand on the sidelines in Vancouver-East until her Liberal opponent is chosen. According to the NDP leak, this has the incumbent steaming.

"Libby has no one to campaign against and this is taxing on her campaign since they have opened an expensive office and had to place their volunteers in hibernation until the Liberal candidate takes centre stage". According to the source, Libby Davies has fought all her campaigns running against the other party's policies and isn't used to running on her own.

It appears that the strategy being deployed by the Liberal co-chair Mark Marrisen, may be paying huge dividends.

Libby in the lady-in-waiting role has The Queen of Hearts for Vancouver-East quipping, "Libby don't worry, you won't be the first or last lady to ever be placed in that role, just enjoy it dear while it lasts".

And the Queen once again gets the last dig!
