QUEEN OF HEARTS HAS FUN while CAMPAIGNING


Hi Friends,

Here is an update of our itinerary for the following
week.


We will be at the Roundhouse Community Centre from
5:45-6:30pm on Monday November 7 supporting my Mayoral Candidate SAM SULLIVAN. At 6:30pm we will
head off to the Hastings Community Centre where I'll be
participating in an all-candidate debate. We need
volunteers for these events if you want to join us.

On Thursday November 10, 2005, our only Fundraiser
of the Campaign is at the LILIGET Feast House, located at
1724 Davie Street. Start time is 7pm.

On Friday November 11, 2005 TOO MANY SHOES will be
our Remembrance day Tribute to all the women who
lost their lives in the Downtown Eastside
. Tribute is at
2pm in Thornton Park at the Women's Monument Project.
Thornton Park is in front of Pacific Coast Greyhound Station.

On Saturday November 12 from 2pm-4:30pm, Organic
Politics returns to the Drive @1025 Commercial Drive.

On Sunday, November 13 Christmas comes to Woodwards
in the shape of SantaHEARTS. From 3pm-5pm. Free
cookies, soup, hot chocolate and coffee.


From 5:30-7:30pm on November 13, the Davie Village
will be aglow as Santa and the QUEEN (of Hearts)
mainstreet in the 1100 and 1200 block of Davie. Of course we will be dancing and prancing into a few Village bars!


Later on Sunday November 13, I am a featured speaker for TRANSfest--a cycling trip and odyssey across Canada by Keenan Pinder and Noah Adams. These two Men are bringing forth issues about Transgender violence. Please join them at the Wise Hall.. Starting at 4pm and going to late. Come be entertained by Rae Spoon, Ivan E Coyote, Jamie Lee Hamilton and others.
